There is a growing number of people who appreciate art, meaningful social gatherings, and new experiences. In the relaxed atmosphere of a cruise, tourists enjoy painting during our workshops. This tour is an unforgettable experience,” says Tamara Radulović, emphasizing her satisfaction that the idea has come to life and, in a short time, has become one of the most authentic and interesting offers on Skadar Lake.

We recently had guests from Nigeria — a group of women. They spent five days in Montenegro, and dedicated one of those days to a cruise on Lake Skadar with ‘Paint & Wine’. After the tour, they said it was the most interesting and beautiful day they had experienced in Montenegro,” said Tamara Radulović.
Tamara Radulović brings this creative idea to life on the wooden boats of Golden Frog, a family business that has been organizing cruises on Lake Skadar for many years.

The concept of creative tourism in the picturesque Lake Skadar National Park, combined with premium local wines, offers an experience that is completely different from a typical lake cruise.
Guests sail in wooden boats through some of the most scenic wetland landscapes, where nature has created fairytale-like views. Fields of water lilies, reeds, narrow canals, small islets rising from the water, and sunsets over Lake Skadar provide endless inspiration for painting.
Licensed tour guide Ivana Marković grew up by Lake Skadar and has been sharing her love for the national park with visitors for years.
On our ‘Golden Frog’ boats, we organize different cruise tours on Lake Skadar. Together with Tamara and her team, we have been running a three-hour ‘Paint & Wine’ cruise for the past two years. We start from Virpazar, pass by Lesendro Fortress, and enter the water lily fields. The tours are usually organized in the late afternoon so guests can enjoy the sunset as part of the experience. The impressions are phenomenal,” says Ivana.

With local wines and the vibrant natural surroundings on the water, guests can truly experience all the flavors of Montenegro.
No previous painting experience is needed for our workshops. We prepare the canvases, paints, brushes, and everything else, while our instructors guide workshops designed for beginners and amateurs alike. Step by step, we lead our guests into a new experience, where inspiring landscapes naturally transform into art,” says Tamara Radulović.

In the end, a cruise on Lake Skadar with ‘Paint & Wine’ is truly the art of enjoyment and relaxation.
